My team mate has wrote about that characters we are including in our opening. We chose to use a child in it because i think it always add to the creepiness and fear factor if they are possessed and not normal because people have a lot of emotional attachment to cute kids.
We needed to have a delivery to make an excuse for someone to come to the house so we picked a pizza delivery boy as they would delivering at night.The father has to be in it to make it creepy about the unknown girl upstairs...He reacts uncertain and scared byt the information deliverd by the piza delivery boy about his daughter being upstairs, even tho she is dead.
